I can help you more if you tell me what is on your test.
Is it vocabulary? Start by making connections between the words and something that you already know. If the word is las cataratas (waterfall) you can think of the expression "Raining cats and dogs." Change a little to raining cats and rats and picture a waterfall with cats and rats tumbling over. You will remember the word with ease.

Is it grammar? Make a study sheet with the irregulars, make flashcards, review old worksheets.

Is it reading? Review the grammar from the chapter as well as the vocabulary.

Please tell me what the topic is and I can give you specific advice.

Start with memorizing the vocabulary. At least if you can get the word translations right, you can't fail the entire test.

Next, get someone who speaks Spanish to be your 'study buddy' or tutor you. Then you will become super smart in Spanish!

Flash cards worked wonders for me. You can pull them out at anytime. Even during commercials.
