I like the folloeing type of music: Rock, Metal, Indie, Emo, Adult Cont. Thirdeyeblind #1 . Mudvayne, Shadows Falls, Taking Back Sunday, Regina Spektor, We are Scientist, Psapp, Magenta Lane. As for song writers and singers that would have to be Stephan Jenkins from 3eb. He is a great song writer and lead singer. Also Chad Gray and Adam Lazarra.

i dont know about you, but i am all for Christian music. dont get me wrong, other stuff is good too, but i just think it helps me concentrate on God.
but there is all kinds of music under this category. rock, punk, screamo(yeah perty cool), rap, perty much like all other music.
and there are some really great Christian bands out there that you might just not realize. for example, underoath and flyleaf. two great bands, known world-wide. but they claim to be Christian music, just listen to the lyrics. and even if you dont like the fact that it is Christian, the lyrics are uplifting, positive, and no filth.
i think you should check out some of these bands: the afters, aaron shust, anberlin, andy hunter, audio adrenaline, barlow girl, bleach, blindside, building 429, chasing victory, the chemistry, david crowder band, decyfer down, day of fire, decemberadio, demon hunter, disciple, everyday sunday, dizmas, falling up, family force 5, hawk nelson, house of heroes, and theres alot more where that came from.
check some of these out, and i can let you know of some more if you want.
