You need to wait until closer to your "missed" period date before you can technically check with a home pregnancy test, but from my own personal experience, I felt like I was pregnant within days of conception. I wasn't sure if my brain was playing tricks on me because I wanted it and so I tried not to get too excited, but it turned out I was right and I'm now 9 weeks pg. I felt little twinges of pain in my lower abdomen, just like things were "happening" down there. Even a week before my missed period I was waking up around 1-2am feeling really nauseous and would toss and turn for about an hour before falling asleep again. That was definitely NOT normal for me, so I knew something was up. Don't waste a pregnancy test just yet as you need to have a certain level of the human growth hormone for it to show up. As hard as it is to wait, wait until the schedule day of your period to test. Good luck!

I used a "First Response" pregnancy test and got a faint positive 3 to 4 days before I was even supposed to have my period. I would get that test. Usually a week to a week and a half after conception you could try it.

For sure... you can have a test taken a few days before your missed period. I knew right away though... the morning after. Sometimes you can just feel it (not physically, but in your heart.)

Wait for a missed period and take a test. Usually your period comes about two weeks after you ovulate (give or take)

it should take up to about 2 weeks for your body to reckonize the pregnancy but your best bet is just to wait and see if you miss you period, then would be the best time to do it.
