They said 91% of americans believe in god. And they said 75% think they are going to heaven. What a load of crap this is, who were they polling? These numbers are not this high are they? If they are all I have to say is, Are U People Stupid Or something?

Im not interested because I dont know if I believe in god or not, I dont, Im interested because if this many people really believe in a man that lives in the sky and sees everything that everybody does and judges eveybody for every action they take scares me. This scares me because if they believe in this, what other nonsenses do they believe in? How could someone even believe in a god that causes so much pain and misery in this world? Allah, Buddha, Jesus Christ, sounds like a bunch of false idols!

There figures may be quite accurate.---- since we do not know where this poll was taken.
In other words:
as relates to "91% of americans believe in God." The REAL question is however,
"91% of americans
(who live in what state? who go to church? who are Episcopalians?) --------------
the same poll results applies to those
"75% who think they are going to heaven"
but the REAL question is
the 75% (who live in what state? who go to church? who are Episcopalians?
There are nearly 300,000,000 people in these United States. We eliminate those under voting age. But. There is NO way that anyone who constructs polls can get a truly representative sampling regarding any issue UNLESS they go door to door. Period.
In addition, some poll numbers are purposely manipulated to take into consideration the "correct" political climate of the day.

I saw some of the network news and this must have been a popular subject survey because I viewed another channel and the numbers weren't quite that high. I think the "God believers" were about 64% (I think) in the quoted poll. One other note, when you say the a network newscast "lied" it sounds so, so degrading. Perhaps they are just severely truth challenged.

Did they say 91% believe in god, or 91% say they believe in god when asked in survey. Never heard story on number that have lock on peril gates. Seems logical large number would say they are going to heaven rather than admit they are Conservatives blanking sucker they can find. Sounds like hell of a fluff piece.

You are right. If 91% of Americans believed in God. It would be a better World. But I believe in God.

You are obviously not a believer in god. Everyone that answered this may not believe in god, but only claiming to do so. When you finally do face him on that day, there will be no time to take back the things you say and your beliefs, but you asked for my opinion so you got it!

No. I tell lies to my clientele each time i circulate to paintings, infront of my colleagues and with the understanding and approval of my boss. in case you disapprove then you certainly tell me a thank you to calm an eighty 4 twelve months previous widow who's hysterical approximately getting abode with the aid of fact she had a infant the former day and her husband does not comprehend a thank you to shelter it. My reaction to her is that she is staying with us to recuperate, she would manage to no longer be any stable to the newborn if she is going abode and collapses and that i've got sent a nurse to help her husband.

For someone who thinks he doesn’t believe in God, you seem pretty interested in justifying it. Hmmm. Perhaps you aren’t so sure after all. And yes, those numbers are accurate to +/- 2% points. :-]
