I am only close to one person to ask this question. Were young farmers excused from service during tha korean and world war two. Thats all I need to know...Thanks

I would guess so. The usual U.S policy at that time was "work or fight". So people who occupy jobs vital to the war machine like farming and shipbuilding could be excused from the draft.
