If my dad hadn't of gotten heartburn and made me walk across the street to get him some tums at the Winn Dixie I would have never known my old high school crush was working there. We started dating. Go married and have been together since.

When I was 15 I almost drowned in a friend's swimming pool. The paramedics were called and I was so impressed with their compassion and professionalism that I made it my lifetime commitment to become a paramedic too and help people. I have not made it to becoming a paramedic yet, but I am an EMT and I had several situations where I've been able to help people and even saved a life once. That was the most rewarding experience of my life! Also, while in the military I took an assignment that I almost passed on. I was stationed on a base I didn't want to be at, but within a month, I met the man that would turn out to be my soul mate and the only man I ever fell in love with!

If i hadn't gotten married and moved across the state... i'd never have known the people i've met over the past 20 years and I'd never seen the smile and sparkle in the man's eyes I fell in love with 10 years ago. (Getting divorced cuz hubby is a slut, not cuz of the 'other' man)... Finally getting a future.. with 'happy' included.

I was down practicing with the band I was in...hitched a ride back home and a mile away I changed my mind and walked back...I got a ride back the next day, went looking in the neighborhood for my brother and saw a pretty girl smoking...I got to know her and 6 years later we got married...she eventually left me 8 years later and I was stuck raising my kids by myself and never got a freakin penny in child support but in the end my kids were better off! If I had went home the first time, it might have never happened that way!!!

Well the decision has yet not happened but has presented it self. The choice if whether to under go genetic therapy for the possibility of diagnosing breast cancer. I am not sure whether or not I want to know bc see I could spend my young life not caring about it or getting a definite answer and well pretty much going through life thinking about losing a breast.

It was a last minute decision to stop and get a loaf of bread on the way home. The other option was to go the convenience store up the street form our house, and I said it was cheaper in town,so I stopped. On our way home, there had been a fatal car accident. Rescue was just getting there. If we had not stopped, that could have been us.

If I hadn't of invited my boss over that night after work, we would of never had sex and I would never have been pg. A huge mistake turned into the most beautiful life changing event of my life....the birth of my daughter.

If I hadn't been in a bitter divorce I would never have met my wife one New Year's Eve in a bar (she was equally sick of men at that moment in her life). She helped me to stop drinking and I probably would have been dead if I had not met her. I will see you in Heaven, Barbara (she died of a brain tumor).
