Weird question. My habit is to get up before the alarm, boil the jug for coffee and have a smoke. Or do you mean like everynight I kiss my son good night and say "I love you best in the world" if I don't he notices and reminds me - he says it is tradition.

People get busy and they often do not "see" one another. Watch any crowd. And yet, on contact, we create little zones of intimacy, if it is with people we trust. We are herd animals, but selective and jumpy.
