I know about the reference to Jesus Christ. I am looking for others. I read somewhere that unicorns may symbolize self-knowledge or renewal...anyone else know anything about that?

They are supposed to be special creations in the begining of creation by legend that have something to do with the sun .
There are many symbols for the rebirth of the sun and the return of warmth to the earth. As unicorns are supposed to be pure creatures and protected by God.
