Black October or the October Crisis, was about the FLQ (a socialist and nationalist terrorist group) in Québec in October 1970 when Canada was placed under Martial Law. The FLQ (Front de libération du Québec - Québec Liberation Front) kidnapped the British Trade Commissioner, James Cross, and the Vice Premier of Québec, Pierre Laporte. James Cross was released and Pierre Laporte was murdered.
