Yes, you can dye your hair throughout your whole pregnancy if you want to. The only reason they say not to is that your hormones are all up in the air. Sometimes if you dye your hair blond it may come out an orangish color instead because of all the hormones in your body. I dyed my hair with both my kids and they are both healthy and smart little kids. My sister dyed her hair with both her kids also. My nephew is really smart and is going to be placed in an advanced class because he is so ahead of all the students in his class. Dyeing your hair wont effect your baby's health. I know a lot of people may tell you not to do it because it's dangerous to your baby but that just isn't the case.

I asked my doctor about this problem, and he said that the only reason most doctors say no is because of the fumes. Just like your not supposed to paint. You can dye it, just be carefull to put a doctors mask on or cover your mouth and nose with a towel.

When I was pregnant with my daughter I dyed mine at 18 weeks but I didn't do it in enclosed room I did it outside so I wouldn't be suffocated with all the fumes, and stayed out side until the minutes were up and hoped in the shower. but my daughter Kyria is now 2 and she has nothing wrong with her!! But I wouldn't recommend doing it that much or at all.

sure why not! I relaxed and colored mine all the 9 months and my baby was happy and very healthy! don't listen to the myths, baby's blood and mommy's blood never mix! Research it, it's true, i learned that on the discoverychannel. If it did, it would kill the baby and mother. Dye can't travel through mom's blood stream and somehow enter the baby's , that not going to happen :)

The effects of hair dye are unknown to an unborn fetus. In both of my pregnancy books it suggests not doing it to be on the safe side. YOu are in your second trimester though. I would check with your doc before you do it.

I don't know if I would risk dying all of my hair, but you could probably get highlights, since they don't go right to the roots of your hair.
