If they're whining about Green, they shouldn't be. Geathers was partially pushed/bumped into him as well, so there was no reason for a flag, and I hope the league doesn't levy an "appeasement" fine against him.

Yes. I grew up in KC and the Chiefs (players, fans, and management) always blame someone or something else. It's never their teams fault (maybe Steve Bono against the Colts in the playoffs one year). Players get hurt. That's why the get paid so much and have trainers and medical staff there. Unfortunatley Trent Green took a hit. Had the line blocked better, or had Green been more mobile they wouldn't have been in that situation. Or maybe they could have stopped Cincy's offense or rushed the ball better so they wouldn't have had to pass the ball. Who knows? The bottom line is that Arrowhead Stadium is a great place to watch football (As long as the Chiefs are winning and not whining). BOOO HOOO!

I'm on the fence about it myself. He did slide and there was no reason to tackle him, but it is football. Besides, it could be strongly argued that the tackler was pushed. Either way, the Chiefs lose their starting QB for an indefinite period. Look at how poorly the Eagles played last season either with an injured D-Mac or without him.

Sounds just Kimo being rolled into Palmer. The Cincy fans STILL cry about that! Fans always whine when their QB gets hurt, yet cheer when the other team's QB goes down. Go figure!

Geathers may have been pushed, but he pulled his arms in and dropped his shoulder. He turned his right shoulder directly into the chest and face of Green. This was intentional and dirty. What would you Bungals fans say, if it had happened to Palmer. They same things that were said about Pittsburgh. I just hope somebody lays a big nasty one on your precise Palmer.Geathers remark after wards should tell everyone what his intentions were.

Green has always been weak. That man is always hurt. That's how he lost his job with the Rams. Tackling is a part of football. He didn't spear him with his helmet. That guy couldn't have kept from hitting him. Its called gravity.
