I painted my daughters room and now want to add some designs to it so I bought some stencils and acrylic paint. After purchasing the acrylic paint, I got all the way home and asked myself if it's a good idea to put acrylic paint on walls? I live in a condo so I can do what I want to the walls but do people put acrylic paint on walls to draw designs with? Other than wall paint, what other kind of paint can I use to draw designs with or is acrylic paint ok?

Yep you can. You can also use a small quantity of wall paint and some purple or another dark color and use it for shadows around what ever you are stenciling - for leaves you could paint the shadow first using just half the stencil - then come back later and stencil the leaf a half inch or so away.

YES if you read the side of the can you used to paint her room color with it also says acrylic latex paint. But seeing how smart thay are they put 1% of that in a tube and sold it to you for the same price:)
