Are their any companies in the Boulder/ Denver area that offer health insurance to their part time employees?

It all depends in your employer. If he is generous enough to provide it, why not. After all, this is for the benefit and welfare of his employees.

I'm not entirely certain, but I would believe that if you have been a part time employee long enough to meet the requirements that a full time employee would have to to receive insurance, yes. You will more than likely have a larger percentage deducted from your check to cover the benefit than a full time employee, but as we all know for sure, its cheaper than purchasing your own health care policy. This is merely reasonable speculation, and may vary by state. As far as employers, I'm not sure as I live in Florida.
