How could peace education help to stop war and terrorism? explain...?

Violence begets violence. If we show others tolerance and peace they will respond in kind. Many are under the opinion that striking fast and hard will intimidate others and thereby creating peace but this does not seem to working. I think it is time for a change... and please do not get me wrong if my family or myself was being attacked I would fight back, but there is a time and place for a fight, it must be just and it must ensure that innocents will not be caught in the crossfire.
