Yeah, if you are having a miscarriage, the above described symptoms occur. You must go to the doc or the ER if you are or have had one, because you have to have a DNC done in order to clean your uterus out. If you don't, you may risk your fertility in the future--or even your life. Good luck.

no you would not bleed "alot". When I had my miscarriage I only had spots in my panties, so of course I went to my Dr. right away, who in turn sent me for an ultra sound. I didn't have no pain or anything for the first 2 - 3 hrs, but then God help me when I started to, you actually have labor pains knowing that there is no baby coming. If this is happening to you I am so sorry, having a miscarriage is very emotionally devastating. But on an optimistic note with my 3rd pregnancy I had spotting as well and of course feared the worse, but he is now 7 and very healthy, I also have a 14 yr.old. Good luck and I hope your baby is going to be just fine.

i had a miscarriage with my first pregnacy and i woke up at like 3am with horrible cramps...i went to the bathroom and there was a lot of blood....but i am pregnant now and in my first trimester i had some heavy bleeding and thought i lost this baby as well so went to the er but everything was fine. the best thing to do if you are having more then just spotting is to go to your dr or ER to be sure. good luck

Oh gosh, how sad. If you are bleeding heavily, chances are you have lost the pregnancy. But - possibly not. So you MUST get to a doc RIGHT AWAY!!!!! Possibly even the ER if you are bleeding badly. If the fetus is still viable, they can help. If you have lost the pregnancy, you might have to have a D & C - you might not, but if you need one and you don't get one, you risk septic shock and other complications. If you have an OBGYN, call them and follow their advice to the LETTER.... your health could be at stake!
