You can check the nutrition information on the box to see what it says. Crackers can have some protein but probably not much.

Protein is made from a kind of stuff called amino acids. Plants do have some protein, but not nearly as much as animals. That's because the part of the animals we eat is mainly the muscles and muscles are made of protein, so when you eat meat or fish, you get a lot of protein. Dairy products also have a lot of protein. Why? because milk is the food a mother cow gives her baby calf. The calf is growing fast and needs a lot of protein to grow, so the mother cow's body puts a lot of good protein in the milk.

So, why not a lot of protein in crackers? Crackers are made from flour, which is ground up plant seeds. Mainly we use the seeds from wheat plants, but sometimes the seeds from rye plants, corn plants or oat plants. The plants seeds have some protein, but they are mainly a different kind of material called starch (or if you want to get technical, carbohydrates, specifically glucose and related compounds). So crackers, bread, pasta, cookies, tacos, and all kinds of food made from flour mainly dont have a lot of protein.
