OK - a baby is usually born after 40 weeks gestation. The first two weeks are prior to conception - that is, 40 weeks from the date your last period began. Considering 38 weeks then from Dec. 16, would see a due date of September 8th. Of course, the baby will be born either side of that date by about 2 weeks.

If you actually conceived on Dec 16 and that wasn't the 1st day of your last period and you have a 28 day cycle you would be due september 9th.
