It could be your salt intake that causes the swelling. I try not to eat salty snacks like chips and pretzels as the morning after, my feet usually swell.
If your feet continually swell, you need to discuss this with your family physician.

it also may be diabetic try and soak your feet in Epsom salts and don't take your shoes off until you can lie down put feet on a pillow for 1/2 to 1 hr.

Your wearing the wrong shoes for what your doing in them. Your probably on you feet too long, wear support hosiery! Drink a heck of alot more water! not from the tap unless it is well, or spring water from an unpolluted source.

I believe it means too much salt. Its normal to wake up with them swollen, but not all the time. Or it is also a sign of diabetes

if your feet swells alot your holding water if it swells alot you can go into heart failer see your dr.
