I am 7 weeks pregnant with my third child, and I already look like I am five months pregnant. I just had an ultrasound today to confirm my due date, and I am definatley 7 weeks with only one baby. I am not eating more than usual. I know the baby is only 7cm, but I am definatley showing. People are already asking me. I am not so much worried, I am just curious as to whether anyone els showed this early in their third pregnancy. Thanks!

As for diabetes. Baby is normal size. I have not really gained a large amount of weight, nor do I have any other signs of pregnancies... But thanks.

If the ultrasound only showed 1 baby I would assume there is only one.

It is not at all uncommon in later pregnancies to show much earlier. :( It happened to me, and can be quite difficult if you are wanting to wait to tell people, and they are already asking! This is due to abdominal separation. The muscles in your abdomen that hold your uterus and other organs in a tucked position allow the uterus to tip forward slightly in later pregnancies, and this tends to get worse with each pregnancy.

Just wanted to add that your baby does not have diabetes, and that that would not affect embryonic size!!!! LOL

I started showing at 8 wks. with my 3rd child. The other two preg. were so diff. I didn't start showing with them until I was around 4 months. My doc said that the reason for this is that your muscles are stretched from previos pregnancies, and tour body adjusts alot faster to being pregnant. Also, he said you could be retaining more fluids this time around. You can be told you are having twins up until 5-6 months if the babies hearts are beating at exactlt the same time. It has happened...

well they do say that each child gets bigger with every pregnancy. maybe your retaining a lot of water. i know i didnt start showing till i was about 4 months pregnant and then i blew up like a balloon.

well it all depends on the size of your belly initially, but sometimes the baby can just be immersed in more amniotic fluid than usual. If you doctor says you are perfectly healthy, don't stress over it.
