I'm looking into getting my eyebrows done with strings, it looked interesting but i want to factor in pain and price along with how long it will last.

Any advice?

String (an Asian method) is not the best way to shape your eyebrows........go to a professional and get them WAXED; it's easy, fast and inexpensive and will make your eyes & face look so much better. Yeah, it feels like pulling off a bandaid but if done with skill you will survive to do it again in 6 weeks!

it's call threading by the way.. cost less than 10 dollars.. it's slightly painful but if u dun intend to thread the whole face then it should be over in 5mins. whether it'll be nice or not depends on the skill of the threader.. midpoint orchard has one.. 2nd level call rupini's. girls are born to have higher endurance of pain than guys.. i would suggest to thread the whole face coz it makes ur face clean and pretty.looks like having a better complexion. after the session u might have some red bums or patches but it'll go off around 2 hrs. don't go if u have pimples coz when the thread goes over it will make it swell abit.. after 1 week the facial hair will start to grow so when u touch ur face it's as though u've shaved ur legs though it's not as rough..u might also shed abit of tears when the thread goes near to your lower eyelids coz that place is very tender.. anyway isn't it better nt to look back and just head your way down for a prettier new you? go for it !

My aunt taught me to pluck with the string method when i was younger but i really could never do it. It's not a bad feeling, pretty much like plucking, but it just takes so much practice and time.

just get them plucked or waxed. i pluck my eyebrows myself and they look great. get a white eyeliner pencil and draw onto your brow what shape you want your eyebrows to be. pluck anything outside of the white line. never pluck the top of your brows, if the hair is too long, trim it with a small cuticle scissor.

take care!

go to a professional for 'threading' it's less painful than plucking as you get several hairs out in one go, and growth is slower, plus you cant go wrong with the shape. If you pluck one by one you can get tempted to overpluck and loose the shape.

do it with the grain and it's better to get waxed. it last longer.
