yes i have,
My son was ended up weighing 10 lbs. With my second daughter we opted for the c-section again.....much easier than all the pain i went through (22hours all natural b/c the epidural didn't work for me) so with my daughter they took her 2 weeks early and she still weighed 8 pounds.....c-sections are horrible i know....but when you have big babies and me being a small person its much easier to choose the c-section....Also its risky having a vaginal delivery after a c-section
Also the 2nd c-section isn't as bad b/c you know more of what to expect the 2nd time around

I only have one child, I did not dilate, he was a big baby, it is possible that you can have a vaginal delivery especially after the c-section even if you dont dilate, they can give you pitocin, I had pitocin and dialated, pushed for 4 hours, but my son was stuck under my pelvic bone he was almost 9lbs and had wide shoulders. Talk to your ob/gyn you dont have to have a c-sect although alot of docs will try to talk you into it since you already had one. My friend has had 3 c-sections and said the 2nd and third werent as bad as the first.
My doc didnt know why I didnt dilate, sometimes it just happens, the baby doesnt move down into the canal your body doesnt produce the hormone that stimulates dilation there are various factors that can affect it.
I have talked to my ob/gyn and will try to have a natural birth with the next pregnancy but he told me to be aware that I may end up with the same situation this time.

No you can have it vaginally. It used to be that you had to have a C Section the second time too but not no more. To me the vaginal Birth was easier because I was ok the next 2 day and a C section took weeks to be better.

I had a c-section with my first and my following two have been vaginal. No problems - and I didnt dilate past 4 the first time. They will tell you that it is better to have another c-section due to the risks involved, but I was fine and would perfer vaginal delivery. It is so much easier.

it extremely is surely nice which you're dilating- they might nevertheless do a c-area. now and back in an emergency a girl is pushing at 10 cm and finally ends up wanting a c-area. they choose to do it as close to to 40 weeks as achieveable to furnish the toddler the main suitable probability at no longer having any problems. they do no longer choose to do them at 37 weeks in the event that they do no longer would desire to. There are situations the place they do no longer choose the lady to pass into labor for notwithstanding reason so as that they are going to do a c-area at 37 weeks to steer away from this, whether it does not sound like they are frightened approximately this with you. loosen up- your primary practitioner is familiar with extra approximately this than your buddy does.

Our first child my wife went thru labor, then an emergency C-section. She was about 1/2 dead till it was over. Our second child she had a c- section - no labor. She recovered in 1/2 the time. Way better 2nd time!!

My dr. told me that since I had to have a c-section with my 1st child, more than likely, unless he's under 7 lbs, I'll have to have my next one the same way, because having the baby naturally would cause tearing. Which could kill you, your baby, or both.

Caesarian section is not always an option, u can still have normal childbirth for the second one if ur baby is smaller and ur pelvic bone will accommodate the baby's head... unless u had any tests done showing that normal childbirth is not possible

I wish I could tell you that you'll have the perfect labor and delivery :-) Unfortunately, your chances of having a vaginal birth are not great. However, in the greater scheme, it's worth it right? You know what to expect this time, so you can better plan. Congratulations and good luck...
