They are going to do a background check. i have only one misdemeanor criminal offense and did not bring it up because they didnt ask about misdemeanors, only felonies.
When they find out about the misdemeanor, do you think they will consider me dishonest for not mentioning it.
Does that seem shady? I didnt lie, i was 100% honest.

It seems perfectly fine. They only asked for felonies so you did tell the truth.

You were honest, that's what they are looking for. T
However, they may hold the misdemeanor against you if they compare you with someone similar to you but without a misdemeanor. Since you are now at a disadvantage, work hard to make yourself more desireable, ie., take computer classes-work hard to make A's, etc.

That kind of a hard one. I just went through the same thing, but the lady i spoke with told me if in doubt go ahead and put it down. So I probably would have put it down but hopefully it will be ok I don't see why not. It only asked for felony so that's all you need to put.

depends what the misdemeanor was for. If it was VERY serious you should have been honest about it and explained your side.
Best of luck though, if you have the guts to feel guilty about this you would probably be a good employee.

Some people would consider it lying by omission. But since they did not ask, you and honestly tell them - if it comes up - that you didn't think they were asking about misdemeanors.

I think you should feel obligated if a misdamenor of moral turpitude was committed. Tell they if you committed a misdamenor that pertains to the job, for example if you are applying to a ban k and you have misdamenor fraud. I don't believe that you lied I think that you should tell the whole truth

No. each and every application i've got study states "have you ever been convicted." You weren't in any respect convicted so there ought to be no difficulty. do not lie if the question is asked at as quickly as, yet while it is not on your application they have no reason to question you approximately it.

Nope. As a former business manager myself, I can tell you that they are only looking for crimes that are specific to the job for which you are interviewing.
