With all the talk about the need to get away from foreign oil I wanted to know what is the breakdown of the % of oil America gets from each nation.

1/3 from Canada, 1/3 from Mexico and the rest from the Middle East! We got about 8 million barrels of oil from Iraq! The rest I assume are other Middle Eastern oil producers

That is 2005 and was just released but thanks for the update!

I guess we get very little of our oil from the Middle East! Why is our gas so high?

Net of oil exports it's about 12.5 million barrels per day. Imports are actually higher, but we export some of US oil production due to specific qualities and contents in the oil.
