People have always been offended at one thing or another - it's just that now there is the (mistaken) belief prevalent that no one is allowed to offend anyone, even if it's the Truth - and so, we are finally allowed to say Nothing (reduced to vacuous, useless trivialities).
Is Nothing Sacred? Looks like...and that's Bad News (my apologies - in advance - to those offended by me...)!

Nothing wrong with freedom of speech as long as you exercise discretion, empathy/sympathy and would talk to people as you would want them to talk to you. Freedom of speech doesn't mean you say everything you feel which may harm others. What you wear or watch is your own business as long as you don't force other people to accept your ideas. Best wishes.

it rather is extra of a self-discipline of option, saying "song is undesirable those days" is notably an important term. persons commerce, as do varieties of song. in spite of the fact that, without artists making an attempt out new issues and experimenting, how could we've got gotten Rock and Roll or a extra style of song?

people have always been easily offended?
what kind of green-tinted glasses are you looking through? maybe the ideas you used to have just were accepted in the "old days" and aren't anymore... but it's likely that whatever is acceptable now, wasn't back then...

Nowadays freedom of speech is a matter of speech, it does not mean anything anymore.

Freedom of speech is one thing. Pissing people off is another.
Why offend anyone? Your rights end where others' begin.

I may not agree with you but I will fight for your right to say it. As long as there is no prior restraint by law or intimidation or threat of physical reprisal, there is still free speech.

Freedom of speech is only protection against government censorship. It doesn't stop other individuals from being upset at you.

The freedom is still there, but you can't control whether someone gets offended or not. It's this PC world the libs have created.

Hey just because someone gets offended doesn't mean you can't say it.The way I look at it is if they get offended that's their problem not yours. Unless of course it's illegal than it's your problem.
