In the past were the western ideologies and concepts and religion based on fear, oppression, and domination? Is it so in the present?

call the jesuits and ask them. perhaps they can tear themselves away from molesting mostly male children and fomenting the counter reformation long enough to tell you how incredibly wrong you are. after that call opus dei, and then the vatican for further insights. the planet is run by psychopaths, get used to it, or do something about it.

hello...catholicism.....the crusades...domination of the muslims that lived in the holy land. inquisitions. the salem witch trials...which I don't think were catholic, but all someone had to do was tell an elder " I think mary is a witch" and she was burned at the stake without a trial. It is still the same. nothing has changed except now it's if you don't go to church, you're going to hell. we try to dominte everyone and supress those who try to speak out.
