i need to buy a wireless keyboard the last row doesnt work..when i look online it says its ps/2 required what is that

It's just a description of the socket that the keyboard's jack plugs into. See below link to see one, and also a serial plug type so you can see the difference.

A PS/2 connection is on the back of the desktop computer. It is a round female receptacle with 5 pins and one vertical slot shaped pin at the bottom of the receptacle. Mice and keyboards can use these inputs. Mice and keyboards also come in USB format.

quite simply, the receiver part of the wireless keyboard plugs into the ps/2 port on the back of your computer
