Well, it sounds like your computer is infected with adware and possibly spyware. What you need to do is download a good anti-spyware software program(s) and use it to remove any malicious files.
There is no shortage of anti-spyware software; however, you have to decide if you want to spend money to buy one or use free software. I'll be honest with you , the commercial programs are more efficient and effective than freeware. However, if you use a combination of free security software, together they are very effective in removing spyware.
Commerical products:
1. Webroot Spy Sweeper
2. PC Tools Spyware Doctor
Free programs (you can find all of the programs at http://www.filehippo.com/software/antispyware/
1. Spybot Search & Destroy
2. Lavasoft's Ad Aware
3. Microsoft's Windows Defender
Now, you need how to use them. Go to http://www.malwarehelp.org/
The website has several tutorials on how to install and use each freeware. Go to the homepage and, on the right hand, there will be a section titled " Most Popular." Under this are the tutorials for using the freewares.

Go to your control panel. (Start--control panel) Double click "add and remove programs". When the list comes up, checkmark the box on top that says "include updates". Scroll through, and find out if there is anything that is out of place. Anything that says "toolbar", for example, unless you know that it's a toolbar that you use. If something looks out of place, click on it, then click "remove this program". Then Reboot.
Next, right click on the toolbar on the bottom of your screen. Click (Task Manager). When the Task Manager comes up, click on the processes tag. click on "user name", and all of the programs that were put on your computer by you will be in a row, by your name. This includes whatever you accidentally clicked that caused that popup. You have to trace down everything. For example, "ccApp" is Norton Systemworks Internet Worm Protection, "ctfmon" is Word, and so on. Some of them are pretty straightforward, like GoogleWebAccelerator.exe Some of them, you have to search out. Click (Start, search), and follow the prompts. When the results come up, right click anywhere on the screen, and choose (View--Details). This will show you what folder the files are in.
Once you find the out of place file, write down the file path, restart, and press F5 while restarting. A menu will come up, and you should choose "Start windows in safe mode" When safe mode comes up, track down the file again, and remove it. Theen reboot again. This should remove all traces of it. If it does not, you have something that has infected the registry, and I don't know enough about the registry to tell you what to do from there. But this process will remove 99.9% of anything that you might have.
Lastly, download Yahoo's Spyware remover. It works. It can find stuff that my Norton misses.

You need to clean out your system of malware, spyware and adware.
Use a free system cleaner such as Adware or SpySweeper. If you do a search you will find the direct link to download.

I'm not a computer tech. But maybe try scanning with Ad-Aware and then running a virus scan. Hope that helps.
