How many times can you subtract 2 from 12? No it is not 6!

Today I thought 1 cuz you can only subtract the 12 once and it the question isn't saying 10-2 so yeah. I think it is 1

you can subtract it an infinite number of times i would assume

Two possible answers:

A. 1. Because 12 - 2 = 1, and that is because 1 + 2 = 12. (in other words, just cancel the 2)
B. A countable infinite number of times (aleph-null). Subtracting 2 from 12 repeatedly results in 10, 8, 6, 4, 2, 0, -2, -4, -6, -8, ...

Its a trick question

ANS : Once

12 - 2 = 10

after that, you would be subtracting from 10, then 8, then 6, then 4, then 2

Only 1 time because you said "2 from 12" and not from 10, 8, 6, 4, and 2 - isn't that right? That is a cool question!!

As many times as you wish.

There is no number less than 12 from which you cannot subtract 2.

10-2=8 2
8-2=6 3
6-2=4 4
4-2=2 5
2-2=0 6

Infinite, since you can do:
12 - 2 = 10
.
.
2 - 2 = 0
0 - 2 = -2

etc.
