Lots of presumptions.
I'll just take one.
How about if he/she/it can't stop us from doing anything?

Depending on your beliefs you could presume many things... Free will is definitely a major factor but more specifically the choices made through said free will. You choose to have faith and believe in principles; you make another choice to act upon those principles and tenets. You choose (for the most part though there may be some genetic predisposition to certain mentalities) and you live by your choices...accountable for those choices and subsequent actions leading to whatever endstate you believe in.

it IS free will. That means more than I think you realize. Free will means that God won't stop us from destroying ourselves, but the only way to stop evil acts is to look to Him. If you love Jesus and believe his death takes away our sin, you can live forever, and so, evil acts do not count. The sins do not matter, if you are forgiven, they are simply washed away. i know you probly didn't want that much of an answer but ill take any excuse to write it!

Maybe he likes to watch and see just how long it takes a civilization of people to unwind and self destruct on their own without intervention. Like for instance rampant intelligence and technology without morals. Hey that is the ultimate reality show y'know!

I guess it depends on which creator you are talking about, and which religion you follow...If you are a Chrisitan, I assume its because they belive that god does not play a role in their life, as in making them do certain things.

Evil happens not because God has turned his back on Man, but because Man has turned his back on God.

Since we can't understand the mind of our fellow man, I don't think we can understand the mind of God.
But that being said, what makes you think he doesn't? when it's
important enough. Maybe he used us to attack Germany to
end the holocaust, or Invade Iraq to end Saddam from murdering
his people, or Invade Bosnia to prevent genocide. He is GOD he doesn't owe you an explanation....

I don't know of any other explanation for what God does and does not do and don't presume to. Don't you think "free will" is enough of an explanation? Pretty much sums it up for me.
