does the average 6th grader most likely know what 140-90 is? cuz today in class i had to do it in front of the class and i didnt know it was 50.i was really embarassed.the teacher whispered from across the room 50.first i pretended i didnt hear him.then he said it again and i fake a laugh and write 50 on the board.really embarassing.yeah so anyway does the average 6th grader know that 140 minus90 is 50?cuz i didnt so i wanna know if im dumb or not.

Yes most 6th graders know what 140-90 is. Just because you didn't know the answer doesn't make you dumb though. Math isn't everyone's strong subject. If you don't understand it try to see if you can get some tutoring to help you out. Good luck.

I am sorry to say yes most 6 graders know that 140 minus 90 is 50. Most lst graders know that too. Don't worry, a blank mind occurs to everybody once in a while.

Awe, you are not dumb, but maybe you should have your parents get you some flash cards to practice your math facts, that's not a big deal. It's just to speed up your answers. It's like anything the more you practice the faster you'll get. There are also some really good software programs that are fun that you can try.
P.S. Sometimes even adults use there fingers, so you are not alone!

I think by 6th grade you should have better math skills! Do you think you need help in math? I'm sure if you were willing to put in a little time your teacher could probably get you some extra help!No, you are not "dumb" , you need to put more effort into your work.
