i don't think it's a good idea but sometimes it's purly accidental. i know this because i got pregnant at 16. i didn't do it on purpose and i know i should have been more careful. i've done well regardless. i think it would be better if teens were more careful though. i don't regret what i did because i love my daughter but i'm stressing to her the importance of waiting now (she's 8 years old) so that she doesn't do what i did. but if she does come home and tells me she is pregnant i'm gonna do what my mom did and i'm gonna support her and help her to finish school and be there for her. i'm not gonna yell at her or kick her out like some parents do because i know from personal experience that these things happen even if we don't want them to. even if i have to babysit my grandchild while my daughter finishes school than i'll do it because that means she has a chance to give her child a good future.
so i guess my answer is i don't think it's good for teens to have kids but i'll never hate my kids if they do.

that was a totally incomprehensible sentence.... But I get your point. It is sad when kids get knocked up. They don't get a chance to enjoy the best years of their life if they have a kid at 16 or 17. The best times are in college, meeting new people, having fun, etc. If you have a kid, you miss out on a lot of the stuff your friends are doing. Then when the kid is old enough so that you can go and date and have fun, you're too old. It's just a senseless waste of adolescence.

I'm with you- for guys, it means child support payments long before you make a decent salary-you never get ahead...for women, it means putting education and a career on hold, as well as giving up your social life AND financial issues...not a good scene all the way around.

having children is an overrated event and in fact i am completely against kids having kids. there is no good reason to do so especially since the world is going to hell. there are ENUF kids out there without parents or normal parents for that matter. stop the insanity. find something meaningful WITHOUT having a kid as a playtoy to try to put meaning to your life.

What are we going to do tie the girls legs together? Kids having kids are so dumb there is no reasoning with them. They all think they are all "just fine and doing well". The older I get the more I think society is acting just one step above being a wild animal.

I think the world is in a sorry state. That is the reason why we have a break down of society, children do not have the proper tools to raise children.

I was one of those "kids Having KIDS" and shes 7 now. I did fine. I think it depends on the maturity of the KID.
BTW I also gradutated with my class and went on to college. So its not impossible, it takes dedication and maturity.
