lol, your not dumb. the mode is the number that occurs the most often in a group of numbers. Their can be more than one mode, if there are two or more numbers that occur twice. There can also be no mode, if no number occurs more than once. When this happens, write "none" where the answer would be.
Examples:
34, 43, 58, 28, 76, 89, 43
mode: 43
34, 43, 58, 89, 28, 76, 89, 43
mode: 89 and 43
34, 43, 58, 28, 76, 89
mode: none

Mean: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 = 3.5 (21/6)
Meadian: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 = 3.5 (number in the middle of the set of numbers)
Mode: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 = No mode
1, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 = 1 Number used most frequently in the set

It's the number that occurs most often in a set of numbers. In the set {1234561234561}, 1 is the mode, as it appears more times than any other number.

The mode is a number that occurs the most often in a range of data. There can also be more than one mode in a range of data: 0,2,3,3,5,11,23,24,37,37,43. The modes would be 3 and 37. Hope this brings back your memory.
