i do not judge a person themself, but i do know the difference between right and wrong, and in the bible it says that homosexuality is wrong. i do not hate the sinner or any person but the sin its self. so i am against it. it also says lying, cheating, stealing, murdering, etc. are wrong, and i am against those things also, i am not saying i am perfect, but i am far from it, but if someone was to ask me if homosexuality or any other thing that was a sin was right i would have to say that i am against any sin. we are not perfect, but we should not live by our impulses either, people say you cant help how you feel, but if any person acted on every impulse, would we not all be murderers?

what do you think?

1 Timothy 1:8-11

But we know that the Law is good, if one uses it lawfully, realizing the fact that law is not made for a righteous person, but for those who are lawless and rebellious, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and profane, for those who kill their fathers or mothers, for murderers and immoral men and homosexuals and kidnappers and liars and perjurers, and whatever else is contrary to sound teaching, according to the glorious gospel of God, with which i have been entrusted.

I agree with a lot of what you said. Homosexuality is an abomination in the sight of God. Thank God we can be saved by grace. God sent Jesus to die for our sins so we would not have to. I am so glad to be one of His children!! May God richly bless you!

Well I have read all those things in the Bible too. I just accept people as they are. You never know how hard someone's life is for whatever reason so I'm not one to pass judgment. Sometimes it's really hard to control how you feel so I can understand people saying that. But no I don't think we'd all be murderers if we acted on every impulse. Not everyone has the same impulses.

I think your a flagit.... just kidding

I agree with your views but realize as a Christian one can't judge everyone on their sin or lack of sin. Sinners are not sinners because they sin. They are sinners because they don't have a relationship with Christ. There are plenty of homosexualls that are "morally good people". And plenty of Christians that as you said are not perfect...( aka mess up and sin allot!).
Christians are not perfect- just forgiven. And conversely plenty of agnostics or Scientologists,etc.. are wonderful and morally up right folks.
The only homosexuals I may judge based on their physical actions are ones who profess to be Christians and are not living in accordance with the words of the savior they claim to love.

You can't only accept the portions of the bible you agree with!

P.s. deep question for polls and surveys instead of religion or culture page?!

Several gay men I know say they would have never chosen to be this way if they had the option. It's something innate within them. Sof if this is a sin, then if you believe man was made by your god, why would he make them this way and then say they are sinners?
