Router NetGear DG834N.
Can load most pages that I go to but not google.

Sounds like you need to update your firmware. Earlier firmware versions of the DG834N couldn't load websites such as Google. I don't know what other sites are affected, but there are reports of a firmware upgrade fixing the Google problem.

I've experienced similar problems with other network device (Linksys Routers). Basically they didn't implement the DNS functionality into the router properly. If your router is 192.168.1.1 you can't simply set that as your DNS server on clients or expect DHCP to get the correct value (in reality it should work if they wrote decent software). Instead you need to view the status page of your router to find out what DNS server your ISP is using and then plug that into each of the network settings on the clients.
