It is only OK if you want a divorce. How many times have you heard someone who is cheating say that it just happened. It does not just happen, you put yourself into situation and then the inevitable happens.
Your wife should understand this, if she appears not to then she is already cheating, either way if it does not stop you are getting a divorce

My husband still chats with his ex from high school, and she tells him that she still loves him, and misses him, and can't let him go, and she is married also. They had a child together when they were 17, and now he is 39. So she probably is too. I am grateful that there is another women out there that loves my husband as much as I do, it makes me very happy to know that. Her husband has a fit about it tho. from what I heard, they have a very unhappy marriage and he is a prick. And I know that if I was talking to a guy friend or an ex, he would have a fit also. It is one of those stupid double standard things, and I don't get it. I know he will not leave me for her, they had plenty of time to get back together before I came along, I have only know him for three years, she's known him for around 21-22 years. So I know it is OK. Hell, even if they did want to get back together, I would step back. They have a lot of history together, and that is an important thing. Oh, and their son is 21-22 and I am 20. So that says something too huh? But I love my husband, my son, and our life together. It is the best I could ever hope for.

I think its ok. I have many, many male friends that I would not ever even think of being anything else other than just friends. I have some gay male friends. Telling someone you miss them.. isnt always a bad thing. Sometimes its nice to hear it from someone to let you know that they are at least thinking about you. I would assume that since she is telling you this stuff, it must be just friends, or else she would be trying to cover it up. Its no difference than a girlfriend who hasnt seen her in a while to say she misses her, in my opinion. Good luck.

depends on what her career is and what "miss her" means. If "miss you" is followed by "I love you" or some sexual inuendoes then it's not ok. However you can only comment and then she will do what she wants to do. Just take note.
If on the other hand she is in marketing or consulting or has some other web related business and she and they work together and share ideas, or she is just networking to bring in income (decently), then "miss you" could be very innocent and no need to make a big deal out of it.

How friendly are they? Would it be ok with your wife if you had female friends telling you they miss you via email?

I would be concerned. There is no reason for a man to tell a married woman that he misses her unless he is a family member. married women should only be friends with men in the presence of their husbands...and it's the same the other way around, too...

Of course it's OK. If they said they enjoyed her, that would be wrong. Saying they haven't been with her should be the better option.
OR, you could be overly posessive and not let her have any friends of the opposite sex. But that wouldn't be right, right?

i feel that it's a way that male and female flirt with each other to see what kind've reaction of how far the male can go to get into her pants. it's just the way i feel. if i'm tellin her, it's just straight out trying to be flirtatious.

Yes. Women usually have better friendships with men. Maybe you can ask her to tune you in every once in a while?
