If i had had little girl i always wanted to dress her up like a famous Bible charioteer form the Bible. Like Mary, Elizabeth, Ruth. I know allot of people don't think that Halloween and Christianity goes together but I saw a little boy dressed like Moses and his sister was his Wife. They had there two dogs on a leash and there dad had took cardboard and fix the truck like an Ark. i thought that was cool.

I don't know of any that haven't already been mentioned, but I wanted to second the Bible characters costumes. I did that with my children when we were still observing halloween. (It was a compromise between my husband and I because I didn't want to celebrate halloween at all lol.)
My youngest was Pharoah's daughter with a little baby moses in a basket. My middle was Esther. My oldest was Joseph in a homemade "coat of many colors" that I threw together, and some historically correct pants. My girls both got to dress like princesses which made them happy. We got some questions about the costumes, but that gave us an opportunity to share our faith and our reasons for bucking the usual costume traditions.

It’s not exactly girly, but if you have allot of boxes you can make her into a walking computer. A long box or skinny one you can make her into a cell phone. If your good at paper mache(use liquid spray starch instead of flour paste lasts longer and wont spoil to fast. you can make a unique mask. paper mache can give you many ideas. use a baseball hat when making a full head mask of your choice. you can turn her into a vase of flowers by making a paper mache over a paper filled large trash bag with the top open to frame the vase. After you fill its thick enough remove the paper from inside. Cut long ways and color what ever she wants the case to be at triangle lines to give it a glass look. Attach fake flowers of her choice on the inside of the vase top. Put it back together on both sides with ropes to hold on her. In a way you are making a flower vase shaped walking billboard only shaped as a theme. That same billboard direction can make her into many different projects. It also helps weather wise to stay warm or dry is you cover the paper mache with colored trash bags. Large trash bag type of paper mace can b shapes to suit different themes like different balloon shapes do. Just use paper as the filler or old pillow stuffing. Email me I may have others. Or email if you want to know other homemade ways to create a costume. My sister and I do this kind of stuff for fun every year. My sister made even a dinosaur this way and even made the little girl costume off monsters.inc.

If she doesn't have her own idea maybe suggest going as a chef. She could go up to the doors carrying a mixing bowl and spoon and people could put the candy in there. Then she could transfer it into a bag later. Get her the hat and the white jacket. I have never seen that one done before.

for a boy it would be sponge bob, but for a girl you can make her into a walking bowl of cereal. YOu could get a big bucket and cut out the bottom and then put suspenders attached to it to make it stay on. And then add cereal creatively.
