I am somewhat confused by your question.
The war was started, according to the Bush administration, because Al Qaeda was "directly linked" to Iraq. Then he changed his tune when the 9/11 Commission found no link between Al Qaeda and Iraq in relations to the 9/11 attacks. So Bush then claimed there were WMD's in Iraq (which Conservatives still insist on); he later admitted the intelligence was "faulty". So why are we in Iraq? Who knows!
And your "theory" that the plane just "crashed"? What are you speaking of? If it is the attacks of 9/11, they were determined to be just that - attacks. Maybe I missed some other plane crashing, but I am somewhat confused.
By the way - I also think that Bush is a dumb @$$.

3 planes hitting specific targets is not an accident.
1 pplane was a failed attempt, thank God.
We might have a problem being in Iraq but not the war on terror as a whole.
