If someone "hates" another for who they are, I would try to forgive that person. Isnt that what we are supposed to do?

You just judged someone. It works the same way. Why should anyone respect you or your ideas when you are self-contradictory in your own words? Give it a rest and go easy with the "hate" nonsense. If you get off your high-horse you might discover some people can disagree without hating.

I don't care about those people because I am not going to get any gain or loss for that. It's
time waste if we will worry about the people who have Lack of Maturity, Uneducated or not using their knowledge even they were educated , Partiality, racist, and people haters. Society is a big circle which has wrong and good people within it. It's our smartness as long as we know to have friendship or relationship with correct people. Swan knew how to find water from milk in lotus plant. We have to be like a swan when we have to find a wrong person from the whole big society.

I try very hard to never use the word..."Hate" it is an ugly word...I do not judge someone i don't know..how can i?? there are so many people who make instant decisions about others based on...looks,religion,sexual preference, hair style, clothes, the way a person talks, and the color of there skin...i could go on--but why...

i do not judge a person themself, but i do know the difference between right and wrong, and in the bible it says that homosexuality is wrong. i do not hate the sinner or any person but the sin its self. so i am against it. it also says lying, cheating, stealing, murdering, etc. are wrong, and i am against those things also, i am not saying i am perfect, but i am far from it, but if someone was to ask me if homosexuality or any other thing that was a sin was right i would have to say that i am against any sin. we are not perfect, but we should not live by our impulses either, people say you cant help how you feel, but if any person acted on every impulse, would we not all be murderers?

Personally, I don't believe anyone is worth hating.

think about it for a moment...hatred is one of the strongest emotions we have as human beings. It takes alot of energy and demands alot of time to build and maintain a good hatred for someone. To me that is a waste of time. Why hate and waste all that time and energy on some idiot?

I would rather direct that time and energy on something much more valuable.

Just my thought

you're so right...why? because it's a learned behavior. you have hateful parents/family/friends....you'll grow up the same way. it's a total waste of energy.
hate the haters? sometimes I feel I do. mostly, I'm disgusted with them. must be really lonely having no friends when you hate everyone, huh?

no i wouldn't judge them but respect has to be earned and if you feel the need to judge others you have no self-respect, much less the respect of others.

I have very little respect for those types of people. If they are in positions of power, we may have to FAKE show them respect, but that's more FEAR than actual, real respect.

It's possible to respect certain (other) traits that the person may have, but I would have a hard time respecting anyone that is that close-minded.
