I understand your problem. The place that I go to for all my halloween stuff is I-party. I dont know if you have an I-party in your state or town. They have everything at I-party. They have the Zombie/dead cheerleader outfits, they have the black and grey make-up , and fake eyelashes and stuff like that.. And they also have the hair die spray. log onto http://www.iparty.com

Most party stores (Diddams, Hallmark, Party City, and more) have Hallowe'en stuff seasonally, and they always have black and white makeup there. Look for one near you and check them out.

Also, starting in the next few weeks (only 7 weeks till Hallowe'en! Aack! And we haven't made a SINGLE weapon for our army of undead skeletons!), the Spirit Hallowe'en Stores should start appearing around the country. Check the Sources field for how to get in touch with them. I have bought makeup kits there in the past, they have EVERYTHING -- including latex stick-on monster faces and more.

I also bought some Hallowe'en goodies this year (and in many previous years) from Oriental Trading. I don't know whether they have makeup, but they DO have costumes, party gear, and other paraphernalia.

However... we happened to do a play over the summer that included three ghosts, and the place we bought black and white makeup (you mix them together to make grey) was at the Hallowe'en Warehouse in Beaverton, Oregon. Don't know if they do mail-order, but they're open year round -- so if you have to make three ghosts for a community play in July, you can just drive there and get makeup. Awesome place. I've included their ID in the Sources, call 'em and see if they'll ship.

Happy Hallowe'en -- I believe it will be our most horrible yet!

Pretty much anywhere should have face paint this time of year - Wal-Mart, CVS, other drug stores or chain stores, also Halloween stores are cropping up everywhere. Make sure to get cream paint and not grease paint. It goes on and comes off easier and doesn't stain. The only downfall is you may need to put it on in layers and/or reapply, but I think that's better than getting grease all over everything.

The hair spray/color stuff really depends on your natural hair color as to how well it works. Read the labels, most things tell if they're not recommend for light hair.
