same thing happened to me. I totally understand how you feel.
The only way i could eliminate my anxiety for good is by spending time alone. Some label that as meditation. Whatever..
Well, the thing is try talk to yourself, ask questions, pay particular attention to all ups and downs of your emotions. Gradually as you learn to know, to recognize the real you, the anxiety will be gone for good.
For your expedient, you may try to exercise deep breathing, focus your mind only on the present moment. Try! It's helped many of my friends. I hope this simple tip can help you out too.
All the best for your presentation to you!
Believe in yourself, you can do it!

Try picking out a couple of people in the audience. Talk only to them, and ignore the others.
Exagerrate your fears until they become ridiculous enough that they seem funny.
Remember to breathe normally and take your time.
Don't start the presentation immediately. Take a few seconds to collect yourself.
Don't picture them naked, or they might retaliate. I saw that on an episode of "Coupling."
Remember that most of your audience is *very* sympathetic to what you're going through, and they're hoping you'll do well. So are we....

Just try your best and relax! Years from now you'll have an awesome job and you won't even remember today! When I was in HS i remember getting really worked up about things like that, but you realize that in the long run
1) no one remembers what you say
2) you'll be ok no matter if it's a flop or if you nail it.
Things will go well for you, don't worry.

first thing is to just practice this presentation to yourself to get more comfortable with it...next, practice the presentation with a family member that can give you honest input on "making it better for tomoro"...the emotions and physical descriptions you gave are for what we call "the creeping red"...just get it over with and the next time remember to give more practice time on it instead of the night before...i am confident you will do fine, and if you dont do as well as you would like, ask the teacher for additional help on points towards this assignment...it may not end up as bad as you think anyway

I'd be more concerned with butchering the English language, if that's was the purpose of the word "scaredness".
Anyways, realize that everyone else has to do the same thing, and they manage it just fine. Just relax-- there's no magic solution to public speaking.

Practice your speech in front of the mirror reading out loud. The more you practice the easier it will be for you to make your presentation because you will be comfortable with yourself. Practice exactly like you want to make your presentation include gestures, etc. This is the way I practiced for speechs in hs.

Start off with a funny one-liner. One that pertains to the topic you're talking about. After that, it's all down hill. Also, just talk to them like you're talking to another person, not a whole group. Good luck. You can do it!
