okay so i met his guy at lunch today, he's a friend of a friend. me and my friend were discussing our french class, when this guy just starts talking and he says "yeah france is cool. it's too bad i got kicked out and banned for punching that cop in the face.." i wanted to tell him to just shut up, but i didn't want to be mean. what would be a nice way to get him ti shut it?

Well, if you can pull this off...it works. Whenever he tells you some big line of crap like that...you make up an even bigger story but make sure your friends and whoever else is listening, knows you're not serious or YOU will be pegged a liar.
For example, if he tells you about punching a cop and being kicked out of France, say "Yeah, that sounds like the time I tackled the guy in the bank when he was trying to rob it"
The bigger and more stupid his stories get, the bigger and more stupid your stories can get. Eventually, he'll realize that you don't believe a thing he's saying. Apparently this guy is STARVED for attention and doesn't think he's good enough just as he is. He has to make up wild stories to make himself seem better. It's really a bit sad, because he'd have more friends if he were just himself.

That is easy, simply use the following instructions:
1) Move close to big fat liar
2) turn around to face big fat liar
3) Open mouth
4) pronounce the words "Shut Up" while facing big fat liar

There is no nice way to tell someone to shut up. But you can laugh in his face for being such a dolt. Chances are he'll shut up and you won't be criticized for being mean.
