-2.73 x 10^20
Is the same as -2.73 x 100,000,000,000,000,000,000

In ordinary notation (standard notation) - not scientific it would be
-273,000,000,000,000,000,000

the 10 ^20 means move the decimal to the RIGHT 20 places.

If you are multiplying by a large number, your answer should get BIGGER, not smaller as Mona's does (down a few answers) her answer would be true for -2.73 time by 10^-20

P.S. (-27.3)^ 20 is NOT the same as (-2.73) x 10^20 You cannot bring the 10 in like that. The 20th power HAS to stay with the 10.

If you're asking this....... -2.73 x 10^20, it's .0000000000000000000273

If you're asking this........... -2.73 x 10 and then to the 10th power, then it's .0000000000000000000000000005287531173

I think you're needing the top one. But just in case, there's another of what you might need.
