No country is prepared for such an attack. Security is just a make-up thing, politicians just pretending to be doing their job.

No.
Lots of high profile but meaningless changes have been made to make people feel safer. Serious targets have had little attention whatsoever.
Examples: Security @ chemical plants, around drinking water treatment plants, on public transportation, in shopping malls, containers from ships & also coming from Mexico & Canada, passenger trains, large electrical transformers. The list is long.
The sad fact is that the government doesn't have a plan - that's why it invaded a country (Iraq) that had nothing to do with U.S. terrorism or any terrorist threat to the U.S. & then created a large, expensive beaurocracy (Dept. of Homeland Security) that spies on people in violation of existing laws & the Constitution.

No. How do you prepare for something you don't know will happen. These terrorist guys aren't stupid. Noone will see them coming, much like Sept 11. It's hard to imagine people would ever want to do things like that. There are just too many different ways and means to attack people on US soil. Nobody can possibly predict when, where and how we might get hit again.

I think that we are better prepared than we were 5 years ago but no one can prepare for every eventuality.
