I was just wondering how to create an additonal email account under my main one. I know it's possible cause I have done it before but I just recently accidently deleted it. Now I'm trying to figure out how to recreate it again. If anyone knows how to do that could you please let me know...Thanks!

I don't think some of you understand what it is that i'm asking. I have my standard free email account, but there is a way that you can also create another one with in the same account. So there is the standard one and then another one and both emails will go to my main account inbox. Now if anyone unsterstands what I'm talking about and know's how to created the additional account could you please let me know...Thanks! If you don't know what I'm talking about then please don't answer.

OK I GOT THE ANSWER THAT I NEEDED AND YES I WAS RIGHT YOU CAN CREATE AN ALTERNATE EMAIL WITH YAHOO WHILE USING YOUR MAIN EMAIL ADDY OR MAIN SCREEN NAME. JUST GO TO MAIL - OPTIONS- MAIL ADDRESS - AND AT THE BOTTOM IT SHOULD SAY SOMTHING ABOUT CREATING ANOTHER EMAIL ADDRESS. I KNEW IT WAS POSSIBLE JUST FORGOT HOW TILL I WAS REMINDED.

Depending on the email service you use, go to the accounts page of your current email, find add email accounts or something similar to that. Then just enter what ever info they ask. As far as Yahoo, go to options---mail address---add. Then it will ask for a password and mail service, etc. Hope this helps!

To create an additional email account just go to the server of your choice and create a nic or screen name that has never been chosen and fill out the personal info application provided.
To reopen an old account,all you need is the ID and password. Most deleted accounts remain in your computer's memory so you may have to answer the " secret question" with the "secret answer" that you applied, when you first opened the account.

Depending on your provider, you can create something known as an "Alias". This is an additional name for a mailbox. It doesn't create another mailbox, simply adds a "pointer" to it.
For example, you could have a mailbox called "john@mybusiness.com", and have an alias called "info@mybusiness.com". The second one (info) is an alias that points to the first one.
If you delete the alias, it has no impact on the original mailbox.

first of all, what email account you are referring to. is it the regular free yahoo account? if it is, i dont think you can recreate it. if you are paying for this mail account, call your email host...

Once an e mail account is deleted, it cannot be revived.

you can't make another email under the same account .. you can create a new profile though ... from http://profiles.yahoo.com .. and from there click on < view my profiles> ... then you will find the profiles you have , and you can create one from there
