I'll only maybe watch it on September 11th., and only once. I don't see what is to be gained by watching it again and again, it seems morbid to me.

Every time you see it and cry, you need to remember that if you give up or allow yourself to forget, the terrorist win. If you don't care or the pictures don't move you, they will have made it easier to attack us again. Don't think that you can talk them into not hurting us. They live just to blame us for the lives they live. If they bettered themselves with the same passion that they hate us, they would be a superpower, but that's not as easy as blaming us. Our greatest weakness is that we don't want to kill them. However that is what we must do, hunt them down and put them down.

it hurts to watch it, but it reminds us of the lengths that Muslim fundamentalists will go to destroy Western democracy and our way of life. The events of 9/11 must be remembered so we can strive to not let it happen again.

The USA biggest weakness is its leader, he wanted revenge but did not know how to go about it, hence the current Gulf War

it angers me more that i feel like the government "sensationalizes" it almost...i mean - did we call pearl harbor the "date" it happened? no, we call it "pearl harbor". i wouldn't know what to name it, in order to memorialize those tragically lost, but come on--there's got to be something better than "9/11"...? it's almost "too" catchy.

i also seriously wonder whether the government knew of the attacks (i'm sure they knew *something*...just like they knew what was going to happen at pearl harbor...but "it was the only way to get us into the War..." granted, it really sucked what happpened there, but we DID save way more lives than soldiers we lost (thankfully).

i just wish we could let the families and those who died, have some peace, finally... i think if i had lost someone, i wouldn't want to keep having to relive it year after year, i would want to grieve and then continue with my life (never forgetting them, of course). stop hyping it already! it happened. horribly. and i send all my serious condolences to every family who lost a loved one...i don't think we'll really have closure until they catch Bin Laden, and kill him in some painfully long, drawn out method, publicly, so "the terrorists" know it, and we know it, they those who died have been avenged in deserved justice...
*then* we will only have closure.

but i'm sure this twisted world will always find new ways to plague people with fanatic murders. until we blow ourselves to pieces with all of our nukes and arguements, then 'maybe' we'll have peace...because we'll only be a toxic crater floating in an infinite black universe... what a way to go.

I agree its not pleasant to watch, but it is necessary to show so the conspiracy nuts will shut up.

I love watching it...because you do not know where you are going unless you know where you have been. I use it as my reality check.

It is done to remind us of what we lost, and what we will keep losing if we fail.
