Be honest. What would you do if you had a friend who was like a sibling to you, yet you knew they were responsible for an illegal act? ... Like embezzling money from the company they work for?

Advise them lightly that they could get in a lot of trouble. By telling them if they do get in a lot of trouble you had no idea, and you're not covering for them.

This is one of those cross roads you can take the high road listed above. The snob road which is go tell their boss. Or the loser road and do what they're doing.

If you don't go along with them you could lose your friend. If you do go along you could lose your freedom.

I would have a conversation with my friend to let them know that I care about them deeply, and am aware of what they have done. I would encourage them to turn themselves in. Most people get caught adventually and it would be better for them to fess up now as they may be able to work something out with the company rather than waiting to be arrested. I wouldn't take any action unless someone's life was in danger or unless asked specifically by the authorities.

Advise them not to continue doing it, and of the consequences.

You gotta value your friends more than some company you've no reason to care about. You think that company would give a damn if someone was stealing from you, as long as they weren't affected?! Businesses screw individuals over all the time, that's the business they're in!!! Dog eat dog.

I would be honest with them about how you feel about what they were doing--let them know that you wouldn't be a true friend at all if you didn't tell them. You may risk severing the friendship but both of you know that it is the right thing to do--chances are they will eventually thank you for being there for them and for your honesty.

I would confront them. Besides what kind of friendship do you really have considering the acitons that they are doing. This doesn't just hurt the company, it hurst you and the others working for the company. Think about it!

I wouldn't do anything. Let them get into there own kharma with that. Unless they really piss me off, then I would say something. If it's happens to be the same company I work for, maybe I would say something to him first and if he doesn't stop, then I would probably let the company know.

Tell your friend how you feel and the ramifications of illegal behavior. After you have given this gift, let it go into the universe and wish them well. This is their journey.

Report them to the company. Theft is wrong and you can get it of your back.
