Personally I think it's stupid. Men wouldn't be born with a foreskin if it wasn't supposed to be there. It's a natural part of the anatomy. And as long as a man has good hygiene, the smegma won't be a problem. If I had a son, I absolutely would NOT have him circumcised. What about all of you reading this question? What do you think?

The foreskin of the uncircumsized penis is loaded with nerve endings ! Don't even think about cutting it off. That's old-fashoned and not relevant anymore !

It depends on the situation. A lot of the reasons circumcisions are done are bad and ignorant reasons. But that doesn't mean that circumcisions are always bad. There are a few cases where medically it'd be better, but that's only if there are problems with the foreskin (which is rare).

Should infants be automatically circumcised? No, unless they develop a problem with their foreskins the second they're born or something, but that's ridiculous. It should be done a case by case basis where medically applicable, though some doctors jump to that option too quickly. If it's not broken don't fix it, it might get worse.

Good hygiene is easy, and hygiene takes care of most of the problems.

I think it's a cruel and idiotic practice. The AMA says routine circumcision is not beneficial, so it's high time insurance stopped paying for needless mutilation, thus making everyone's rates higher.

I'm so grateful that my guy's parents left him WHOLE!

Circumcision is very good, if you are a doctor that needs a new Lexus, or if you are some sex-hating old man that runs some religion claiming that God hates foreskins.

Otherwise it is a pointless, needless mutilation, that serves no medical purpose.

The only reason being un-circumsized is you'll never spend money on condoms. All they need to do is use a twist tie from a loaf of bread around the foreskin.
