I think it's great that a woman can hold down a job and still take care of the home and the children if she has any.

I know my mom did for years so I respect any woman that can come home from work, cook, clean the house if it needs it, take care of the kids, and other things around the home. BIG respect, my mom did that plus went to school for a degree, so I know it's gotta be tough.

If she's married, I think the husband should also get involved, like at least washing the dishes and doing housework as well to help take the load off, hey he lives there too so why shouldn't he chip in? It should be a mutual benefit for both spouses to help each other, plus with two pairs of hands, it'll get done that much faster.

and if the kids are old enough, especialy 10yrs or older, should have some responsibilities, and I'm not just talking about keeping their room clean, that's a given no question.

the sooner they start learning how to take care of things, the better they'll be prepared for life when they graduate from high school

I think she is a really hard worker, I am single, work full time, yet make time to cut grass, shovel snow, vacuum, laundry, dishes, floors and clean bathroom, yet MY girlfriend works only part time, and her place is ALWAYS a mess, she does NOT work hard in her home, so I probably will not marry her
