Except at off-times like late night or early morning, I can't even complete loading the Yahoo home page before my computer goes to sleep.

i dont kno! i have it too but not slow

I urge you to call technical support. AT&T Yahoo! DSL is a great service, and you should not have such slow speeds. You may have a lot of line noise, or additional interference. You may need to have the telephone company install a phone filter in the wall. This is easily fixable, and should be a minimal cost, if anything.

I've had it since it was SBC DSL, and it works fine by me!

Many people don't know DSL is much like dial-up in that the more subscribers you have in your area, the slower your connection will be....

Call customer service and see what is wrong. You may just have something not disconnected or connected incorrectly. Also refer to the instruction and troubleshooting manuals. You also may be too far away from the main service area.

I merely were given on, even if the former day my pc iced up. I had to close down through the ability . per chance the electric powered use is portion of the clarification. we are in a warmth wave in NJ the following and many parts of the u . s .. My pc is below a year previous. i'm on Verizon and that is the position it iced up, so i could not get to Yahoo and when I did , I were given blunders messages. Who stated that something is desirable?

try this: shut down your comp and then unplug your modem. wait 45 seconds, then plug it back in and reboot. it may fix the problem. its called power cycling, i have to do it sometimes. also, make sure there are filters on all your phone jacks, but not the one your modem is plugged in.

They will sel it to anyone but if you live too far away from phone office, it will never work right.
