Ive Been Told Different Things But Because Ill Be Around Hawaii I Think Ill Be Ok....Wont I?

There are cell phone towers on the island so it depends how close you are to the islands and whatever interference there might be in the area. If you can afford it go with a satelite phone. Works anywhere. oh, and if your not from Hawaii your roaming charges will probably be crazy.

If you are sailing around Hawaii who the hell cares if a cell phone works? Enjoy yourself!!!

It depends what service you use. Cingular and Sprint work fine. When I used Nextel we didn't have signal.If you're sailing from LA to Hawaii you wont have full signal while at sea.

Would you need a mobile post thingy? But they might have one on board to pick up the network ask the shipping company that will take you?

umm.....i depends if u have a phone or the company that lets u use the phone anywhere.so if u do u will be allright

It depends if you get a signal from a tower. I kinda doubt it.
